We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Payments Product Owner.

In this role you will:

•    Map payment processes globally, ensuring flows are updated on an annual basis, Particular focus on the capture and authentication of the payment instruction
•    Define and deploy a standardised Target Operating Model for Private Bank payments, including cross-functional optimisation (such as Global Payment Solutions)
•    Define standard operating processes for end-to-end Payment journeys across all Private Bank booking centres
•    Ensure compliance with all payment regulations across jurisdictions
•    Oversee payments business change globally including ISO20022 compliance
•    To monitor performance of end to end payments journeys, achieve agreed standards of efficiency and quality
•    To ensure relevant Management Information is maintained including quality checking and sampling
•    Monitor payments control environment including oversight of any material payments issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Extensive experience and domain knowledge in Private Banking, Wealth Management or Retail Banking
•    Deep expertise in payments and operational excellence as well as the regulatory framework
•    Outstanding understanding of HSBC Group structures, processes and objectives
•    Strong knowledge of the external environment – Regulatory, political, competitors etc
•    Transformation Capability – Deep domain understanding of delivering large-scale Global transformation
•    Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group
