We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Product Manager, Supply Chain Finance.
Reporting to the Global Product Head, Supply Chain Finance this role of Senior Product Manager is to manage the suite of Supply Chain Finance Solutions within GTS with a view to maximizing revenues and managing underlying risks.
The role will encompass structured products across Supply Chain, Integrated Working Capital, Dynamic Discounting and Multi-Tier Supply Chain Finance.
Principal responsibilities and accountabilities of this role include: product management & development, product commercialisation and growth, deal support, business case formulation, rollout and commercialization of the product across geographies, innovation on new product features, Profit & Loss management, Risk management, internal communications, team leadership and development.
In this role, you will:
• Conduct detailed analysis of financials at a market, client and sub-product level for suitable strategy development.
• Conduct formal business reviews that tie financial results back to strategic business initiatives.
• Develop value propositions that are compelling and commercially viable
• Develop suitable business cases to justify strategic initiatives and secure approvals on such business cases.
• Oversees the relationship with key stakeholders
• Managing annual CIPP requirements across key stakeholders and working on prioritisation
• Ensure Operations and Sales are briefed in regard to new products / solutions.
• Builds networks across functions, customer groups, trade associations, external influencers and regions both in and outside HSBC to provide expertise, cascade strategy and identify market trends.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
• Proven experience of banking preferably with relevant Structured Trade or Supply Chain Finance experience
• Knowledge of Trade Finance structures having experience in supply chain, pre-export finance, and/or structured commodity finance.
• Thorough understanding of Working Capital management (multi-regional and multi-currency) – able to transmit knowledge to the team for potential cross sell with other Treasury and asset-based lending enhancing propositions
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Power Point.
• Very strong financial and analytical skills with very good problem analysis (pointing out problems, recognising important information, establishing connections) and proactively presenting solutions
• Demonstrated experience working across several international markets
• Broad knowledge of the trends in the Open Account area as they impact large corporate and Global Banking segments
