IWPB IT provides a range of technology services to support the different functions of HSBC's IWPB business, including wealth management, retail banking, and private banking. IWPB IT's technology solutions are designed to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of HSBC's IWPB operations, while also providing a seamless and integrated experience for customers across all channels and touchpoints.

IWPB IT's technology solutions are built on a modern and scalable technology platform, using the latest in cloud computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies. The platform work closely with HSBC's IWPB business to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their specific requirements. HSBC IWPB IT also collaborates with other technology providers and partners to bring the latest innovations and best practices to HSBC's IWPB operations.


The Opportunity: 
• Participating and providing support to Insurance IT governance process 
• Stakeholders management for business transformation function, IT leadership and vendors; 
• Act as the coordination among the business teams, engineering teams, testing team, release teams and service delivery teams.

What you’ll do: 
• Drive and participate in business planning activities including financial, technological and resource planning, such as Financial Control - Customer Charges, direct cost, accruals, Annual operation planning,  
• Collaborate with Insurance team in Business management activities, provide necessary support while capacity allows. 
• Cover other business managers as needed 
• Vendor management support – third party contract support etc. 
• Portfolio delivery committees, work with business PMO and monthly financial governance for portfolios and resources allocation,  
• Participate in devising and monitoring of internal governance activities 
• Cover for Insurance BM/PMO global activities along with support  
• Supporting business management including recruitment of the team, resource governance team profile maintenance, timesheet compliance monitoring, monthly working hour reconciliation with vendor, OT and leave tracking, training compliance monitoring and other ad-hoc activities 
• Tracking statuses of project deliverables and milestones 
• Managing and updating project documentation, process documents and information of sources 
• Work closely with the development teams to ensure the IT project is delivered on schedule and budget, and meets the business requirements in acceptable quality    

 

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role: 
• Fluent verbal and written English communication 
• Experience work in business management and portfolio management 
• Understanding of project management and project budgeting 
• Organizational/scheduling/planning skills 
• Good communication and interpersonal skill 
• Stakeholder management skill 
• Report generation and Annalistic skill

What additional skills will be good to have?
• Management process and portfolio management
