The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to drive strategic technology solutions in our banking software development team. The successful candidate will bridge business needs with technical implementation while ensuring alignment with our architectural roadmap and banking industry standards.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable, high-quality software solutions.  
• Develop and implement strategic solutions using mainstream programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and databases.  
• Mentor and support junior colleagues by resolving complex technical issues and sharing best practices.  
• Work within Agile frameworks to deliver solutions efficiently, adhering to software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices.  
• Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.  
• Engage with clients to gather requirements, propose solutions, and ensure timely project delivery.  
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adoption of industry best practices.  

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in banking or financial services.  
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java/C#/Python. Strong knowledge of databases. Solid experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures. Extensive experience in Agile methodologies.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Cyber Security Awareness: Strong understanding of secure coding practices and compliance.  

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Grafana, along with a strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Certifications: Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., GCP Certified Solutions Architect) or other technical areas.
• Global Collaboration: Experience working in cross-cultural or remote team environments.  
• Banking Knowledge: Familiarity with banking systems, architecture, and strategic solution design.
