The Opportunity: 

The TREATS IT team is truly global, with team-members in UK, Hong Kong, India, Canada, Mexico and Guangzhou

We are now looking for a high caliber professional to join our team. 

 

What you’ll do:

  • Production lead for TREATS & SSDML China
  • Manage China Service Management team to deliver 7x24 RTB service delivery model to provide best in class service for the global applications in TREATS
  • Provide a high and proficient level of governance and control across the Production estate, ensuring Production Stability and Service Resiliency are maintained globally so that internal business lines and external clients are able to undertake business processes without interruption
  • Communicate with business and major IT stakeholders timely for production incidents and identify risks that may realize into business impacting incidents
  • Act as Service Recovery Manager(SRM) for APAC during Major Incident Management(MIM) when required and direct resources for service recovery
  • Initiate and take lead on service improvement projects and innovations
  • Chair or represent Major Incident Reviews for TREATS as and when required
  • Produce and input commentary for TREATS when required for Group, MSS & MSSOT reports
  • Play the Relationship Manager role in APAC to bridge all IT functions with the business teams, and to facilitate dialogue with right parties, including senior executives and resolve problems.
  • Responsible for APAC regions ‘State of the Nation’ Daily report detailing Incidents related to TREATS
  • Represent TREATS in multiple MSSOT and regional Meetings, Service Resilience working groups and APAC Service Management forums.
  • Continually improving the operating environment for production, focusing on reducing toil, improving automation across TREATS applications, using data.
  • Hands on in innovation to improve automation of production environment and drive the development roadmap on internal tooling – Spider / OptimiSer

  

Requirements
  • At least 10 years’ relevant IT experience in Production Support and Service Management in TREATS, Post Trade and/or investment banking industry
  • Sound knowledge on financial products, Treasury or back office operations
  • Excellent problem solving and service support skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver high quality results under tight schedule and high pressure
  • Experience in a global or regional role, working effectively to deliver targets in a large, matrix organization
  • Results orientated with consistent track record, self-directed, change leader, high energy and strong execution capabilities
  • Strong leadership and sense of ownership; able to manage incidents from the beginning till resolutions
  • Proactive, possess an outgoing personality, self-motivated and be able to work independently and under pressure
