  This function will provide global exposure to internal party including global resourcing, regulatory compliance, legal and various of risk function.  
• The Employee Vetting team is responsible to take risk-base decision by assessing the global suppliers’ output and managing the vendor performance.

The Opportunity:

• The role holder will act as subject matter expert to monitor the vendor activities and oversight the vendor performance including the vendor turnaround time and the vetting decision.
• The role holder will be responsible for control and oversight for the respective market/ region for any regulatory expectation implementation and market risk. The role holder is also responsible to manage effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver the vetting outcome to support the business growth.

What you’ll do:

• Support and execute the vetting controls ensuring that all relevant standards, policies, and procedures are met.
• Monitor the daily activities performed by the vendor via Daily report to ensure there is NIL missed follow-up by the vendor.
• Reviewed the vendor output if it is meeting the HSBC standard including the quality of initial case review, case recommendation, referral and escalations. 
• Open case and aged case governance, record any case delay and escalate to manager in a timely manner.
• Start date reconciliation control, review all check results required for final recommendation issued by the vendor based on package within agreed timeline.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in Vetting, compliance services, or audit experience or equivalent. 
• Experience working with a global team and creating and working to global standards of quality.
• Experience in vendor management and manage vendor day to day activities to achieve the desirable outcome
• Proven organisational, planning, interpersonal, managerial, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skill.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively and proven ability to meet challenging deadlines.
• Fluent in both oral and written English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
