The Regional Technology Management position is responsible to the Global Business and Functions (GB/GF) CIO and the Regional CIO to ensure the effective delivery of IT services in the region. This position maintains direct relationship with the business at regional level, acting as a trusted advisor and offering advice and support to the GB/GF Regional Business Unit, the Regional CIO and the GB/GF COO in order to define and ensure the GB/GF Technology portfolio and IT service.

Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for carrying out all or some of the following activities:

  • Responsible for defining, implementing, and ensuring the sustainability of LAM Finance applications/solutions and projects. Managing the project portfolio, ensuring contribution to business transformation, growth, and operational continuity.
  • Ensuring the daily execution of applications in accordance with the standards, controls, and SLAs, defined with the business, measuring, and communicating the results, to allow a continuous and stable operation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, director and/or external partners, defining work plans, monitoring according to the methodology, feedback, and meetings. Resulting in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Generate business relationships inside and outside the organization, promoting formal meetings and communication, which allow for the generation of long-term agreements for the area's projects.
  • Define and implement the LAM Finance area's application Roadmap in harmony with the rest of the areas, local, regional, and global.
  • Encourage the use of technologies in the areas of information analysis in the Finance team. Promoting the development of skills and ongoing training processes.
  • Responsible for supporting the regional CIO, when necessary, on issues related to relevant regulations and relations with the Board at a regional level.
  • Consulting work on the execution of the LAM Finance IT strategy at a regional level.
  • Responsible for collaborating with other peer regional managers, the IT Finance business unit, and other IT leadership to implement IT Finance objectives in the LAM region within entity, policy, spend, and regulatory constraints in line with IT strategy, priorities, and budgets.
  • Responsible for leading and guiding the IT Finance LAM team to meet functional objectives in the region and overseeing delivery of the portfolio within established time, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective discovery and prioritization of regional demand across the global IT Finance LAM portfolio.
  • Responsible for managing the global portfolio to ensure transparency on the global IT Finance LAM deployment status established across regions/countries.
  • Responsible for coordinating all regional inputs into the annual planning cycle.
  • Responsible for managing all IT Finance LAM programme portfolios ensuring reporting on status and impact on time, cost and quality across all regions and countries.
  • Responsible for delivering IT transformation for IT Finance LAM and Agile adoption and operations development in the region to meet cost savings targets in partnership with the Finance business unit.
  • Responsible for successful delivery of key IT Finance LAM change programmes.
  • Responsible for ensuring that products are enabling and adhere to the defined state architecture at the regional and IT Finance levels.
  • Accountable to the regional CIO and IT Finance CIO for ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality services in the region.
  •  Responsible for coordinating regional activities required to mitigate service issues.
  • Responsible for the performance of end-to-end services delivered in the region (e.g. service SLA, mean time to recover (MTTR), etc.).
  • Consultation on end-to-end service delivery status or application health for applications under the responsibility of the regional or local CIO, and expert advice provided or facilitated from broader IT Finance LAM segments as required.
  • Consultation on status of issues related to critical IT incidents for applications under the responsibility of the regional or national CIO, and expert advice provided or facilitated from broader IT Finance LAM segments as required.
  • Consultation on problem management and root cause analysis for applications under the responsibility of the regional or national CIO, as applicable, and expert advice provided or facilitated from broader IT Finance LAM segments as required.
  • Responsible for managing implementation, driving risk accountability, promoting ethical risk management, effectively communicating policy and management changes, and ensuring compliance with country regulatory procedures.
  • Accountable to the Regional CIO and Finance IT CIO for direct IT costs and charges to the LAM Finance regional business unit.
  • Responsible for providing delivery assurance for the LAM Finance IT services and operations development teams.
  • Responsible for managing the regional allocation of the overall budget across regions for all programs.
  • Accountable to the LAM Finance business COO for managing IT spend in the region (in the LAM Finance IT budget and the regional budget).
Requirements

Education:

  • Engineering or bachelor’s degree in careers related to information technology.
  • Data or BI area manager: 5 years
  • IT Finance area manager: +10 years
  • Team management (+20 FTEs): +10 years
