The Technical Senior Project Manager will lead the orchestration of complex, cross-functional technology related initiatives, serving as the critical link between business leadership and technical teams. By providing clarity, managing risk and championing excellence, the candidate will ensure the successful delivery of critical projects and strengthen Shared Services foundation for future growth. 

What you’ll do
    • Act as a bridge between business objectives and technical execution, by ensuring technical excellence of deliverables and alignment with strategic goals. Lead the end-toend management of large-scale, cross-functional technical projects, including platform migrations, infrastructure overhauls and system integrations.
    • Drive project execution using a hybrid of Agile and traditional methodologies, tailored to the project’s needs. Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior leadership, product managers, engineering teams (IT and DAO). Facilitate clear and concise communication across all levels, translating technical concepts for business audiences and business needs for technical teams.
    • Work closely with IT, DAO and architects to understand technical dependencies, feasibility and implementation strategies. Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring projects align with technical standards, best practices and applicable internal policies.
    • Engage with stakeholders across various teams to gather requirements, provide updates and manage key project stakeholder expectations.
    • Track project progress, prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
    • Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment of project goals. Develop and manage technical project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules to ensure successful project delivery. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in the use of data and models.
    • Leverage a solid understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud infrastructure, data management and modern tech stacks to contribute meaningfully to technical discussions and recommend best practices.

What you need to have to succeed in this role
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field. 
    • Experience: 7 to 9 years of experience of project management experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior role managing complex technical projects.
    • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or CSM (Certified Scrum Master) are highly desirable
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Financial Services business processes and resultant information needs: client, risk / regulatory / finance, etc. 
    • Excellent communication skills with technical (the team) and non-technical (senior entity management around the globe) counterparts; being able to "translate" between the two worlds is the major thing in the day to day work. 
    • Ability to execute quickly and efficiently; analytical/problem solving capabilities, ability to conceptualize, anticipate future direction and trends.
    • Solid understanding of Agule principles and practices (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data architecture. Exmperience with data pipelines, data arehouses and ETL processes. 
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and collaboration software.
