We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Financial Accounting and Analytics Officer.
Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparation of Regulatory / internal Reporting for HSBC Sri Lanka.
- Responsible for preparation of Tax computations and returns.
- Responsible for assigned internal controls tasks relating to Finance.
- Assisting the quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles.
- Monitoring and assisting tax compliance and assessments.
- Coordination of External audit, regulatory compliance and other operational tasks for Finance.
- Assisting the team to ensure continuous improvement in all areas of Finance
Requirements
- Accounting qualification (A Degree holder in Accountancy/ Finance, Part qualification in CIMA/ACCA or similar)
- Experience in Prudential regulatory /Financial reporting/Tax related exposure
- Prior experience in Banking will be an added advantage
