We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the role of Cheque Operations Officer - Cash and Cheques Domain Operational Services.
Principal Responsibilities
- · Ensure that all International and Domestic Cheque payments are processed in line with the Central Bank guidelines including all HSBC policies.
- · Ensure sufficient oversight on the back-end processing with the Global Service Centers (GSC) teams and develop good working relationships with the support functions.
- · Inform and influence the decision making of senior leadership by use of management information, business performance information, analytics, forums and stakeholder feedback.
- · Should have a very strong passion towards delivering world class customer experience.
- · Seek continuous improvements in efficiency of service provision and cost effectiveness of operations.
- · Be responsible for meeting operational risk targets, managing the risk and control environment and maintaining and observing all HSBC control standards including implementation of internal and external audit recommendations.
- · Leading and mentoring the team to ensure daily operations are carried out in an efficient manner while proving feedback for staff development.
Requirements
- · Applicable for Sri Lankan nationals only.
- · Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- · Prior experience in managing processes pertaining to Payments and cheques will be an added advantage
- · Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- · Strong Leadership and stakeholder management skills
