We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Actuarial Analyst - Pricing, reporting to Senior Manager and Actuary, Products.
Principal responsibilities:
- Assisting in product pricing including feasibility study on product development, modelling and assumption setting, preparing pricing documents and approval papers.
- Preparing rate tables, calculator specification and calculation tools for system development
- Analyzing reinsurance quotations and reviewing reinsurance treaty
- Reviewing marketing materials (e.g. product brochure, policy provision, sales illustration & etc.)
- Preparing management information reports and analysis (e.g. Annual profitability review, in-depth product review or analysis & etc.)
Requirements
Requirements:
- University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related discipline
- Student of any recognized actuarial organizations with good exam progress is also preferred
- Excellent presentation, communication, as well as proficient analytical skills
- Ability to deal with multiple projects and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Prophet is preferable
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
