Digital Business Services (DBS)

HSBC Digital Business Services is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational and technical support to our global businesses and helping improve customer service and efficiency. We combine global expertise and technology to help keep us thriving in the competition.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

-         Handle account related services, e.g. corporate account opening, information update, account closure, and all other account related operations, etc.

-         Monitor irregular/outstanding cases and handle exceptional cases for customers within responsible area to avoid operational risk as well as to ensure no customer complaint.

-         To prepare both internal and external returns as 1st level and ensure the accuracy. Assist supervisor/line manager to support preparation for the ad hoc clean-up and PBOC/SAFE on-site/off-site inspections.

-         To act as a contact point between branch operations and frontline staff, as well as back office staff, take prompt follow-up actions to smooth the whole process and improve efficiency. To coordinate with front line and CNQ functional departments to collect the corporate reconciliation reply and follow up actions according to the requirement.

-         To file the department related documents properly and timely according to HBCN document management guidance.

-         Cross support branch/cross branch WCAS positions, and conduct job rotation with branch counter positions when necessary.

-         Commitment and sense of responsibility. To maintain good attendance record without unjustifiable absence; to completes work assignment on schedule.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

-         Bachelor degree or above (recognized by the state);

-         Good understanding of local rules and regulations and internal guidelines; risk control awareness;

-         Strong sense of responsibility and is always willing to learn more;

-         Good customer services mindset.

-         Good communication skills and team work;

-         Good written and spoken English;

-         Be able to work under pressure.

-         Obtain sufficient knowledge to back up other position in operations teams when in need.
