We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Business Strategy and Planning Manager, reporting to Business Strategy and Planning Head.
Principal responsibilities:
- To support the delivery of the people and cost management strategy of Hang Seng Insurance business.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive alignment of shared objectives across Insurance business and functions.
- To perform valid and reliable marketing research, data analysis and formulates tailor-made strategy plans for different product lines and sales channels.
- To support the formulation of business growth strategies in ad-hoc strategic projects.
- To organize staff engagement and talent development events including townhalls, offsite meetings and training workshops.
- To prepare communication materials including speaking notes, staff communications and presentations for internal engagement.
- To support talent, culture and sustainability initiatives in Hang Seng Insurance.
- To plan, oversight and refine the budget planning to improve the utilization on cost for Hang Seng Insurance business.
- To prepare regular cost and expense reporting for management update.
Requirements:
- University degree in a business or communication related discipline.
- Proven experience in in insurance/ consulting/ marketing strategy roles in industry.
- Possesses strong strategic orientation, ability to think critically, and evaluate impacts of plans.
- Excellent quantitative skills to develop financial or operational models and supervise data analysis.
- Outstanding written communication, oral presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage.
- Great sense of ownership and growth mindset to ensure efficient and effective business service processes.
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
