WPB Credit and Financial Crime Risk Control - Credit Control Services
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Collections Manager.
Principal responsibilities
- Assist manager to lead a team of staff to manage delinquent accounts of the retail unsecured loan portfolios; to perform account maintenance and provide administration support
- Take legal proceedings against debtors by instructing external legal firms; representing the Bank to attend court hearing and liaison with Official Receiver’s Office / Outside Trustee on bankruptcy related matters
- Follow up and manage deceased, bankruptcy accounts and other accounts with court orders
- Conduct risk account review and propose mitigation actions through regular or ad hoc review
- Assist in the process of Supplier Risk Management and prepare statistical reports for management review
- Handle customer complaints and perform necessary investigation
Requirements
- University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in debt recovery / unsecured lending and mortgage business, with exposure to credit control / administration
- Strong self-motivation, good interpersonal, communication, credit analytic and supervisory skills
- Good knowledge of PC application software such as MS Word, Excel and Access
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mind-set to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
