We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Compliance Manager HBCN - COMPLIANCE SHARED SERVICE.
Principal responsibilities
- Supporting the HBCN Compliance RC / Advisory team, to maintain an effective control framework and to ensure compliance with all relevant external laws & regulations, internal policies and good market practices relating to Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance.
- Supporting identification and oversight of material regulatory compliance developments, and supporting the Bank and the Group to address regulatory change.
- Supporting the team to consolidate and produce management information and reports for review, follow up with relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.

- Compliance professional with experience in regulatory and financial crime compliance.
- Understanding of regulations as applicable to the bank and familier with PRC regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience of working effectively with different stakeholders and collaborating for success.
- Able to work independently, execute excellence and seek direction as needed.
- Time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple outputs simultaneously.
- Ability to cultivate a team work culture and inspire motivation and commitment in the team.
- Previous experience of HSBC Group structure, its business and personnel, and culture would be an advantage.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
