We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Medical Services. 

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Assess and approve claims by providing fair, professional and quality settlement and managing customer expectation with flexible solution
  • Assist to direct and guide subordinates and teammates to ensure proper assessment and settlement of all claims as to achieve KPIs
  • Ensure all claims activities comply with regulations and internal guidelines
  • Coordinate and participate in enhancement or initiative activities, new products as to meet business needs and improvements on operations efficiency and customer experience
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve disputes
  • Prepare regular claims reports and handle data verification
  • Prepare and participate in audits and compliance review and ensure the operations procedure is in compliant to the set rules and regulations
  • Participate in projects or ad-hoc tasks in accordance with requirements set
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Prior experience in individual life / medical insurance industry
  • Own the job attitude, Independent, self-motivated, well-organized, good team player and able to work under pressure
  • With customer services experience will be added as advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good computer skill, proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint
