We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager, Wholesale CAO - ASP CMB COO OFFSHORE TEAM - CH.

Principal responsibilities

  • Costs & reporting - Consolidation / preparation of MIs and performance metrics for insights and actions. Role taxonomy updates, Assurenet / GL reconciliation, GSC bills checking, Inter Global Biz recoveries/services, GHQ charges, IT CAM validation.
  • DBS and GFs engagement related - ServCo coordination activities, Operational Performance Metrics – Customer Journey KPIs, SLAs with GFs & DBS. Work across teams to ensure issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
  • FTE MI - WCOO metrics MI collation & distribution, FTE monthly reporting, Span of Control, HRR governance & oversight.
  • FTE management - Track scorecard performance, monitoring of recruitment approvals and due diligence review of requests, Job catalogue, High risk role governance, business framework review, org chart preparation and maintenance, Training Coordination.
  • Support, coordinate and implement strategic initiatives which are often of a complex, strategic and cross functional nature to rationalise or create efficiencies across WCOO.
  • System access control – maintenance of self-service procedures for front line system access. Centralisation of any non-Service Now access requests.
  • Provide management support to regional and country CAO leads on an ad-hoc basis as required.
  • Implementation of special projects and WCOO initiatives as required.

Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders

  • Ensure strategic objectives are translated into initiatives and brought into reality, working with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate mechanisms for key measurements and monitoring to ensure transparency and progress evaluation.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure correct focus and direction for the business area across the bank.
  • In collaboration with Regional Wholesale, CMB, GB and Digital Business Services (DBS) sub-functions, executing key initiatives including streamlining, simplification and service mapping, working alongside process re-engineering colleagues as required.
  • Develop close and effective working relationships with Global Business & Functions / Regional strategy teams.
  • Manage and, where relevant, support relationships with nominated executives across respective Countries / Functions to ensure common understanding of critical issues as they relate to WCAO capabilities.
  • Build close links to other Global functions to ensure well informed perspectives on best practices.
  • Support development of Regional WCAO communications, ensuring stakeholders are included in regular strong, two way communications.

Experience:   

  • Strong banking, business management / project management background.
  • Experience in driving multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in CMB / GB.
  • Experience working in a business management role is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment, whilst setting and managing realistic expectations.
  • Proven experience in navigating a matrix organisation, working with business, functional, region and country stakeholders to work collaboratively.
