We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Project Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Drive project delivery, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risks
- Manage resources, establish effective project controls and procedures while ensuring a quality delivery process
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Report progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or programme leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making, in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisation
- Provide updates to management on the progress of project alignment to wider programme objectives, where appropriate, and to the change portfolio across HSBC
- Drive the adoption of HSBC project standards and working in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all times
To be successful you will need
- Project management skills and experience with solid understanding of the project lifecycle
- Solid understanding of the Business Transformation Framework, Agile methodologies and best practice techniques
- Experience working on change project within a banking environment
- Strong communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Excellent written communication skills with experience creating presentations
