Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Foreign Exchange Specialist. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Acting as a technical expert in one or several product categories, as relevant to market, such as Currency
  • Following the needs-based sales process, giving clients a meaningful and consistent wealth experience and ultimately providing an outstanding client experience
  • Knowledge update on market movements and strategizing optimal FX buy/sell calls for different clients based on market environment
  • Actively calling clients to provide market movement updates and execute trades based on individual client profiles and needs, to increase wealth revenue while ensuring highest level of customer experience and sales quality
  • Reviewing portfolios with RMs, and strategizing currency portfolios to target given market updates
  • Provide coaching/guidance to RMs using insights from market updates and client appointments
  • Managing client referrals, leads pipeline and action leads to align with Channel goals
  • Daily review of achievements and identification of improvement areas with Senior Management to grow client base, revenue and improve customer experience
  • Reporting daily sales/trading performance for management review and tracking to ensure targets are in line with business plan expectations
  • Managing appointment schedules to ensure RMs are well supported, and meetings balance new client growth with increasing existing client portfolio performance
  • Resolving any outstanding operational issues to optimize daily performance
  • Ensure daily sales activity management enables achieving the overall business objective
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven and progressive financial services and/or priority banking sales experience or equivalent
  • Evidence of strong sales results in spot FX and FX option products
  • Relationship management experience with high net worth clients
  • Strong technical skills in wealth management with emphasis on FX analysis
  • Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
  • Strong sales orientation, networking and portfolio management skills
  • Sound knowledge of financial services products and services and the client relationship management system
  • Local regulatory & license requirements - job holder should possess valid licenses with accreditation on wealth management and qualification as required by country
  • Clear view on how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
