We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Wealth and Private Banking Operations. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • To manage the end-to-end Wealth and Private Banking activities covering various products not limiting to Unit Trust/Alternative, Dual Currency Deposit, Structured Deposit, Local & International Bonds, IPO Bonds, Structured Products and Equities
  • To manage all outsourced activities; connect and collaborate with offshore colleagues to ensure Performance Level Agreement is consistently met and customer service delivery is of high standard continuously
  • Maximization process of efficiency and effectiveness in the team through simplification, streamlining and/or automation
  • To deliver high standard of customer service delivery and ensure that feedbacks, complaints and enquiries from internal & external customers are promptly handled
  • To practice robust Controls and compliances and accuracy in management reporting
  • to support and roll out all related projects and system enhancements within stipulated timelines
  • to manage operational risk associated with the role and take action to minimize the likelihood of operational risk occurring, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting
  • Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators
  • Ensure Desk Instruction Manuals are promptly reviewed and updated
Requirements
  • A minimum degree holder with 2 years or more relevant experience in Wealth and Private Banking operations
  • Able to work independently and manage projects related to Wealth and Private Banking operations
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment and work under pressure with demanding timelines
  • Highly motivated with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and stakeholders and to deliver on time
  • Strong analytical mind and conceptual skills is required
  • Cognizant on MAS & SFA related regulations is preferred
  • Have excellent eye for detail
  • An effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability and professionalism
  • Proficient in MS Office
