We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Tech SME

In this role you will:

  • Implement global unified testing strategy with fully agile approach
  • Liaising with product owner (or BA) and developers for clarity on stories, acceptance criteria and testing scope
  • Monitor, drive and report testing progress through test metrics; keep project stakeholders informed of issues and risks
  • Communicate with the relevant stakeholder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projects
  • Drive test efficiency and quality improvement activity in the project teams
  • Create and maintain reusable automated test scripts/programs using Cucumber + Selenium + Appium with existing testing framework
  • Participate to automation framework development and continually enhancement
  • Conduct automated testing in API, Web GUI, Mobile GUI platforms
  • Conduct automated testing as continuous integration by using Jenkins in a stable and scalable manner
  • Practitioner in agile activities stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives
  • Research and develop emerging testing approach and facilitate training/implementation cross internal teams
  • Initiate TDD (test driven development) or BDD (behavior driven development)
  • Implement robust agile practices and automation in the DevOps pipeline
     
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years' IT software testing experiences, STRONG technical knowledge and experience in Java / Python / Ruby, etc.
  • Have a good understanding of the test process and testing knowledge or software development lifecycle.
  • Effective communication skills in spoken and written English.
  • Be able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines.
  • Be able to work under pressure to complete the project in tight schedule in a cost effective way
  • Experienced in software development more than 3 years is an advantage
  • Ideal Experience (following skills/experiences would be an added advantage)
  • Testing experience / development working experience on Mobile application or banking application.
  • Working in an Agile test model, TDD / BDD experience is plus, etc.
  • Working with Automation and Performance testing tools
  • Knowledge in Cloud testing / development.
  • Knowledge in Financial / banking domain.
  • Working in a global team with different cultures
  • Working in different locations around the global
  • Experience in vendor management
