We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Data Engineering DevOps team to deliver the Compliance ETL, Cloud Refinery and other associated ETL / Cloud initiatives.
- Work with product owners and architects to develop technology roadmaps based on the Compliance IT strategy.
- Innovate and be creative in the identification of opportunities to leverage technology to support the roadmap.
- Promote Agile ways of working within the Pods by removing impediments to improve efficiency.
- Work across geographies, understanding diversity and bringing people together.
- Build relationships by communicating, influencing and negotiating effectively with senior managers, technical experts, product owners and business users.
- Develop talent within the team and helps create opportunities for junior team members.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Good knowledge of Data Engineering, ETL, GCP and DevOps.
- Sound understanding of data ingestion principals and tooling options.
- Experience of working in an Agile environment using team collaboration tools such as GitHub, Confluence, JIRA.
- Understanding of what is required to own a system from an ITSO perspective.
- Ability to break down a program of work into manageable deliveries
- Ability to adapt and understand new technologies.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
- Methodical approach to problem solving and attention to detail.
- Proficient documentation skills; able to fully document requirements, proposed solutions, processes, and data flows effectively.
- Effective time management skills; with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously requiring experience with prioritizing tasks due to shifting priorities, fluctuating workloads, and deadline pressures.
- Ability to work in a multi country, culturally diverse and time-zone separated role.
- Experience of planning and prioritizing their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently.
- Strong team player who also has the ability to work under pressure, independently and proactively while balancing competing priorities to achieve results on complex new development and integrations.
