We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist
In this role, you will:
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis and most recent experience preferably in the banking and financial domain.
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and design thinking skills with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects.
- Promote Agile ways of working and manage requirement life cycle, traceability, experience in digital transformation projects in a global banks/consulting firm/ Financial industry
- Adapt and adhere to the HSBC’s ways of working and collaborate with array of stakeholders effectively and inclusively and liaison with cross functional team for program execution.
- Articulates or translates complex information in clear, meaningful and structured way to suit audience.
- Be responsible for implementation management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product’.
- Generate regular status reports and project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Good understanding of finance terms like CTB, RTB Funding & Budget Management.
- Versed with HSBC financial management practices -GPDM & Finance reporting, Third Party System, HIBS Actual report.
- Ensure accurate Financial Management across portfolio i.e. articulation of WD+2, WD+6 reports and drawing conclusions & actions out of it.
- Support the automation of processes where required.
- Responsible to drive headcount plan / forecast management as per the current demand and supply status
- Adept in Accruals & various types of vendor contracts and processes around it.
- Strong Analytical & stakeholder Management skills
- Support and drive some initiatives as and when required around people strategy
- Support & drive Management of Direct costs for service line.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis and most recent experience preferably in the banking and financial domain
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; presentation skills preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PPt, advance excel), business analysis tools and techniques, knowledge of JIRA and Confluence tools, VBA and Macros.
- Understanding of HSBC internal tools and reporting – GPDM, TPS, Pioneer, Sharepoint, Clarity
- Good with Agile methodologies.
- Monitor, report and manage budgets and expenditure
- Ability to summarize results and present them to stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic skills, and problem-solving abilities.
