Role purpose
The role holder will support the HSBC Mexico Retail and Wealth Products, as the main financial advisor, including pricing benchmark analysis and planning. The individual will work closely with Business Product Heads as the financial expert, being the focal point in all related accounting/financial items and, the person responsible of give all financial insides on an ad hoc basis. Also, in charge of product forecast cycles as well as annual budgeting plans. The financial reviews of campaigns, strategic initiatives and business proposals will be part of the role, among others
Main activities
- Review, report and challenge business information of the relevant WPB product.
- Forecasting projections
- Participation and advisory in terms of product pricing (campaigns / new products)
- Analysis and value added to support financial decision making
- Support in terms of new initiatives implementation for the area and the business
- Trends and variations analysis. Significant deviations are to be understood and addressed.
- Senior management advisory
- Degree in Business Administration, or equivalent business experience in an Economics related field.
- MBA or Project Management Certificate is a plus.
- Overall experience in Business partnering, planning, FP&A in any field (no need to be in Financial Institutions)
- Treasury, Capital, Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk Management is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple technical and/or non-technical projects.
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation, written & verbal communication skills (story telling).
- Experience of working with colleagues cross-border in a multinational organization is desirable.
- Confidence working with staff that includes the highest levels of management.
- Data management and analysis need, SAS knowledge is a plus.
- Curiosity is the most important skill for this role
