 We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Regulatory Risk (BRR) and Chief Control Office (CCO) Manager – Wholesale MENAT

 

What you’ll do:

·       Maintaining robust oversight of Non-financial risks across Wholesale in MENAT region, including demonstrating compliance with all applicable policies, laws and regulations.

·       Managing GB & CMB MENAT Risk Governance and the continued embedding of the Risk Management Framework.  Working in partnership with senior stakeholders to ensure top and emerging risks are identified, mitigated, or accepted on a timely basis.  This also includes liaising with Internal Audit and second line Assurance during audits and reviews.

·       Management of Wholesale MENAT Risk and Control Assessments (RCAs) actively.

·       Support implementation of Conduct Framework.

·       Perform Product Governance accountabilities and support ongoing product governance initiatives (product launch/enhancement/demise, post implementation review, legacy products reviews, annual recertification of the Global Product Inventory etc).

·       Ensure only appropriate products are provided to customers to align to their needs and rationalize the product portfolio for our customers and front-line colleagues.

·       Analyze key complaint themes and drive improvement actions to improve these key complaint themes.

·        Execution of parts the regulatory reporting for the UAE Wholesale.

·       Participate in the annual Tax Reporting across the MENAT region for CRS and FATCA regimes.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

  •        Bachelor Degree is required, preferably Business
  •        Dynamic and self-motivated individual
  •        Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  •        Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  •        Ability to prioritize and work independently under pressure within a team environment.
  •        Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  •        Proficiency in English and computer skills. 

 

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
