Job Introduction

The role is based at Head office of our NBFC Unit, Mumbai and involves handling a team for entire Operations & service delivery unit, through coordination with all segments of Business – Risk, Finance, IT, other support teams etc. 

Principal Responsibilities 

•  Lead Operational risk and control assessment and identify risks according to the RCAs methodology;  
• Manage verticals of Sales control, IT service delivery, CISO & entity ask from time to time.
• Work closely with the team on Design and control review for all activities
• Ensure effectiveness of Operational Risk frameworks via robust Risk Control Assessments, operational processes and internal controls
•  Challenge RCA outputs, particularly the details of key controls, driving consistency in RCAs
• Review RCA outputs supplemented by key controls identified through other methods or sources (all audit/review reports, minimum standards documents etc).
• Maintain robust controls that operate effectively and are regularly tested and ensure Control Monitoring is in place for all controls and is adhered at the set frequency.
• Facilitate timely closure of Issues and Actions by their Owners, or extension of target deadlines in advance of the due dates and under correct governance
• Sales Quality and Identification and Verification related checks responsibilities
• BIRO and Information security related risk responsibilities
• Arranging or refreshing the BCP Plan in place recognising time-scales for potential loss and recovery, and a Business Impact Analysis to identify and prioritise critical activities, recovery requirements and accurate dependencies.
• High quality entity related reporting and managing various relevant governance related responsibilities including representing at the risk/governance forums
• Drive the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Data Privacy related activities and reporting within the entity.

·       Post Graduate and above

·       10 years or more of relevant experience, including team leadership

·       RC & Governance exposure will be an added advantage
