 We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as CMB Insurance Manager.

 Principal Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategy, planning, and execution to promote Life acquisitions and drive business growth 
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry best practices in product marketing. 
  • Responsible for managing and handling inquiries, audits, and inspections from regulatory authorities, such as the HKMA and IA.  
  • Facilitate effective communication between all business channels and functions including Group Insurance, Finance, Actuarial and 2LoD (RC/LGA) 
  • Drive strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external counterparts, including but not limited to product development, sales journey development and revamp ect. 
  • Monitor industry trends, conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth 
  • Monitor sales performance by channel and by product, based on KPIs and report to management 
  • Manage sales analytics and data-driven insights to provide recommendations for performance improvement and capture sales opportunities 
Requirements
  • University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Insurance or related discipline 
  • Minimum of 5 years' working experience in the banking and/or insurance company, preferably with strategy and planning, sales analytics experience 
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes, with the ability to work independently and under pressure 
  • Good knowledge of retail banking business, with strong business acumen and numerical sense. Experience in insurance business is advantageous 
  • Able to work independently and exercise discretion and judgment in driving through projects 
  • Self-motivated, able to work effectively and remain positive under pressure 
  • Committed to improve oneself with ability in embracing change, overcoming challenges, seeing effort as a path to mastery, learning from criticism and finding lessons in the success of others 
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Access for data analysis and presentation purposes 
  • Excellent written, presentation, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills & high proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua
