The purpose of this role is to develop and maintain commercial card product constructs and configurations as part of the card issuance and processing lifecycle.  Key objectives are to contribute and to grow the Commercial Card business’ profitability, while driving innovative design and enhancing the client experience.  The role owns the breadth of Commercial Card core product delivery within all vendor environments which participate in the end-to-end card issuing flow, as well as managing client facing digital solutions for card onboarding and program management. 

As our Commercial Card Senior Product Manager you will:

  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with commercial card key vendors:  TSYS, Mastercard, Visa and Idemia, as well as 4th parties/partners such as Broadcom, Extend, Plastic, Conferma, Coupa

  • Manage data synchronization activities, including data analysis and mapping exercises, to ensure all TSYS Client data is aligned to HSBC Systems of Record, which support Financial/Revenue reporting, Compliance requirements for Name Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Cash Monitoring, HUB Card Facility alignment and other related processes in the overall Cards Operating model from a data perspective

  • Manage TSYS Disclosure Groups, which control card program pricing and terms, which directly impact income to the business

  • Support the Customer Service Call forecasting requirements a part of the contractual SLA Agreement with TSYS Managed Services

  • Manage the various Online Card Management digital solutions (CentreSuite/ Mobile App, Smart Data G2 and MiVision, API enablement) which are accessed by the client and cardholders, to ensure configurations, solutions, permissions and data, are performing as expected

  • Initiate, manage and deliver new product builds within the TSYS environment and configurations across all modules of account origination/card processing and perform any necessary maintenance as part of error remediation or enhancements to card products and features (Authorizations, Statements, Rewards, Onboarding, New Account Defaults, VIP proposition, Data retention, CHIP settings, Fraud Alerting, Client Options, etc)

  • Support the operations and file transmissions across vendors, managing functions such as statement printing, card embossing and distribution and delivery of TSYS data to Mastercard/Visa

  • Support Cards IT Team with UAT Testing

  • Develop and manage Production Verification Testing test scripts and execution

  • Perform risk control testing on activities related to Regulation II for the Business Debit Product

 

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $128,100.00 and $192,200.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

 

  • Knowledge, practical use and configuration of TSYS/TS2 Processor/Host System, First Data Processor/Host System, the Smart Data Online Card Management tool/site and the CentreSuite Online Card Management tool/site

  • Practical use and testing support for REST/SOAP APIs

  • Experience with interpreting data files, file transmissions and mapping across various file specifications/formats, specifically XML/CDF/VCF and TS2 DEF

  • Product Management experience including industry knowledge of Commercial Card, digital services, product development, commercial pricing strategies, business development, awareness of pertinent regulations affecting Card Product delivery and product due diligence/risk assessment.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a matrixed environment across global and local teams, and across lines of business and product groups to deliver end to end solutions

  • Strong communication, planning, organizational, analytical, presentation and lateral thinking skills; Strong competency in MS Office (Excel (macros), Visio, PowerPoint)

  • Proven Commercial Card experience in product, processing platform, digital services or card product development; specifically, on the TSYS TS2 Processing Platform

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of AML Compliance, FCC Compliance, Data Security and Privacy, and other regulatory requirements/guidelines impacting Cash Management Payment products
