Commercial Banking – Global Trade Solutions

Should you join our Global Trade Solutions business, you will have an opportunity to become a business specialist in trade and receivables finance and expose yourself to various trade business modules. You will work closely with corporate customers to understand their trade needs, business uniqueness and competitive edge, to structure versatile and long-term trade financial solutions to meet their requirements and to build a close relationship with them.

 

We are looking for high calibre professionals to join our team as Customer Credit Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Manage and review Trade Credit Insurance (TCI) bank policies and bilateral policies and act as the principle relationship role with TCI service providers and brokers

  • Debtor credit management / application, debtor credit control / collections and claims management.

  • Manage portfolio risk management of GTRF products, including Core Trade, Receivables Finance and Guarantees, by data analytic tools.

  • Manage account receivables, aging analysis for instant credit control

  • Monitor and, where necessary, recommend actions to maintain a healthy level of facility utilization.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines; for candidate with less than university degree academic attainment

  • Proven experience in Trade / Receivables Finance / Trade Credit Insurance / Trade Solution Structuring / Credit Approval is preferred

  • Strong attentiveness to detail, with ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills

  • Good knowledge of application software

  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua an advantage

  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes

  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
