Retail Banking and Wealth Management (RBWM)
Retail Banking and Wealth Management leverages HSBC’s global retail banking expertise and wealth management capabilities to deliver a broad range of world-class retail banking solutions to millions of customers. Driving for growth in key markets around the world, the business comprises areas such as retail banking, wealth management, insurance and asset management, with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels that will differentiate our customer experience and deliver market leading retail banking and wealth management solutions.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.


In this role, you will:
- Assist in driving product strategy in China for mortgage loan, and an overall framework for implementation across the Group
- Assist in developing and launching new products at pace, in order to compete well in key segments and with new product functionality
- Oversee profit performance and return delivery of mortgage loan. Work with the regions to ensure overall plan is delivered intervening as required to ensure targets are met
- Review all product portfolios and make appropriate strategic recommendations on future investment and growth
- Adhere to the Global standard product range for personal lending, to improve cost efficiency and allow the leveraging of Group scale.
- Simplify the existing product range and work with regions to deliver this, migrating existing portfolios to the strategy
- Be responsible for owning product prioritization within a Global order book and sponsor change programmes to deliver that vision
- Own the right outcomes with key functions to deliver across the broad set of KPIs described earlier – marketing, distribution including digital, service delivery, change delivery, risk, finance and analytics.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge/Experience/Shill
- Excellent knowledge of consumer asset businesses across China
- Substantial experience of market leading consumer asset capability
- Proven experience of delivering strategies in large retail financial services organizations, particularly growth oriented strategies
- Retail Banking experience, familiarity with Large Bank environment
- Experience in dealing/negotiating with commercial external stakeholders
- Excellent customer relationships
- Experience of leading senior teams
- Strong influencing skills, communication and engagement skills
- Consultative approach to decision making
- Ability to gain consensus and agreement between geographically diverse countries and cultures
