The Data and Business Analytics Management function for International Wealth and Personal Banking (IWPB) Mexico is a key role supporting the successful development and industrial implementation of the Financial-Analytic discipline and Decision Science capabilities across WPB businesses. The role holder is accountable for identifying business oportunities thru data analyses, customer insights and statustical modeling, that help WPB make data driven business decisions and at the same time ensuring MX IWPB and Global Intelligence Hub agenda.

The role has a direct reporting line to a CGB 5 and is accountable for duties of wealth products Management and their campaigns, statistical modeling and Wealth Customers advanced analytics.

 

This position will play a main role in  balances folow up   across IWPB wealth products, developing new analytic capabilities, managing Weath and Premier customer data strategies across the MX Brands, whilst developing advanced data modeling capabilities.

 

The role output will help increase direct business profitability via the identification of growth opportunities and efficiencies to increase the value thru campaign segmentation, targeting models, customer net present value maximization and lead strategy management for our Wealth customers, and partnering the Products, Propositions, Channels considering Wealth Management Heads  strategy to deliver RBWM customer value propositions, pricing, strategies and data goals.

-             Industrial implementation of Wealth Customer Analytics and data-driven financial discipline and statistical model outcomes to support Segments, Products and Channel analytics of acquisition, cross sell, upsell, retention, win-back and remediation strategy decision management.

 

-             Responsible for delivering Analytic capabilities for the MX franchise and for setting the purpose and vision for the “data intelligence” specialisms for IWPB.

 

-             Development and use of sophisticated Analytic Data Marts to be more innovative delivering increased value and data-based decisions and profitability maximization to the business’ strategic actions and campaigns. 

 

-             Provides thought and statistical expertise in the design & implementation of the next generation of Analytic Platforms and testing methodologies for the MX franchise.

 

-             Develops effective targeting and sophisticated segmentation as input to deliver CRM and Risk Management campaigns and other pricing and X-Sell actions for the IWPB customer base.

 

-             Develops data-driven knowledge (behaviors, position and potential) of our product / customer base to uncover revenue opportunities (balancing a risk-reward trade-off) aiming at maximizing customer NPV and satisfaction.

 

-             Governs access provisioning to different datasets.

 

Ensures alignment of analytic data infrastructure and analytic data developments and initiatives with the overall WPB customer strategy and goals set by the Management Charter:

 

-             Development of analytic decision management of customers on-boarding, product & digital channel activation, growth strategies and retention actions.

 

-             Implementation consistent and coherent marketing segmented strategies and response/revenue models according to segment and customer lifecycle.

 

-             Develops effective working relationships with key country stakeholders to maintain expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends to influence future direction of WPB Analytics

 

-             Stakeholders include: Retail Banking Wealth Management Businesses; All Functional Support businesses and Centers of Excellence, IT and Change Delivery ensuring support for strategy; Customer Value Management and Premier and Wealth country teams: Proposition, Product, Risk Management; Finance; Global Stakeholders in Analytics CoE and wider Global RBWM teams

-             Participates with CRM and data analysts to deliver a coherent pricing, value proposition and optimal customer financial strategy to maximize customer NPV.

 

-             Participates in cross-functional organization to avoid fragmented analytic and data interventions across business lines.

 

-             Work cross-functionally with the various BI/MI teams to standardize reporting and build a consistent and self-serve environment for colleagues across the organization

-             Collaborates with Product, Propositions, Digital, Marketing, IT, Operations, Compliance and the wider IWPB

 

-             Provides thought financial-analytic and practical expertise in retail customer data and decision management to bring insights when setting strategic direction within IWPB businesses.

 

-             Provides subject matter expertise in the design & implementation of the next generation of Analytic Data infrastructures, and Intelligence Hub Management capabilities for the Mexican franchise.

 

-             Interacts internally with analysts of various areas like Marketing, Secure / Unsecured Products, Wealth, Strategic Channels, Branch Network, Retail Business Bank, Risk Management, Finance, Ombudsman, IT, Compliance, Legal, GLCM, etc. to support business growth.C66

Requirements

-             Bachelor’s in actuarial studies, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related areas.

-             Experience with customer database management initiatives desirable

-             In-depth knowledge of database management, innovative data infrastructure, strategy development and campaign tracking and analytics across multiple financial product categories and customer segments.

-             Understanding of analytic systems infrastructure in the retail banking industry

-             Excellent communication skills (English not mandatory) in order to influence a wide range of audiences in different organization layers / geographies.

-             Capacity to learn fast from business initiatives and results and adapt those learnings to impact business.

-             Ability to operate effectively in complex business environment.
