We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Delivery Lead.
The Role:
As a key member of the IWPB transformation team, in this role you will be responsible for working collaboratively with local business heads, as well as a variety of global business and delivery partners to take initiatives from initiation through to final implementation. You will operate at an executive level and engage and influence a wide spectrum of stakeholders and partners across HSBC.
Further more in this role you will be:
- Represent local market and ensure their priorities and associated costs and benefits are understood by regional and global teams as part of the Quarterly and Annual value stream investment plan (VSIP) process
- Manage local market and strategic initiatives raised by senior management
- Develop target operating models for shaping, managing and delivering strategic programs
- Manage the VSIP process by engaging Market Heads, IWS Heads and liaising with Global domain leads to shape the CTB agenda for GPB&W
- Support Head of GPB&W EMEA Transformation with portfolio management and senior management reporting
- Work closely with business partners to define the strategy, shape the approach across all initiatives and component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
- Influence and drive Value Stream delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks
- Lead definition of staffing, responsibilities and schedules
- Lead the establishment of effective Value Steam controls and procedures.
- Manage the delivery of multiple complex customer experience enhancement initiatives from design through to release
- Supervise and oversee local market Transformation teams, and coordinate global resources through our GTC and GSC delivery centres
- Work directly with various stakeholders across multiple geographies, such as Product Owners, Business Analysts, Process Designers, IT, and Digital teams to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis through to design and delivery
- Empower teams to collaborate and make effective decisions promoting adaptive planning, evolutionary development, early delivery and continuous improvement
- Define Agile project working approach and enforce all team members to follow the same methodology
- Ensure awareness, involvement and support from key stakeholders by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communications on the project status throughout its lifecycle
- Ensure risks and issues are identified, managed closely and remove project blockers from the team
- Drive all stakeholders to deliver on time and to the required quality standards
- Contribute to post implementation reviews to demonstrate success and progress of projects
- Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives
- Develop various project documentation to stakeholders (e.g. Project Plan, Status Report, Implementation checkpoints)
- Input to Business Case preparation, providing context and data to underpin assumptions
- Supporting the delivery production line (development, testing and implementation) ensuring digital deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose to release to customers.
In order to apply for this role, you will have:
- University Graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications, this is essential in order to obtain UAE work permit.
- Strong working knowledge of the Global Private Bank or Retail Wealth businesses, with deep understanding of customer interaction models, multi-channel journeys, data driven client engagement and digitally assisted advisory models
- Strong understanding of Global/ Digital/ Business Transformation and Agile methodologies and best practice techniques
- Strong experience as a Scrum Master/ Agile Delivery Lead
- Experience of working on complex projects with multiple workstreams, with the ability to identify the deliverables needed to complete a task or project
- Highly adaptable, self-starter, ability to deal with ambiguity, thrives in fast-moving and high-growth environments, bias towards action
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills particularly in communication, workshop facilitation and consensus building
- Articulates or translates complex information in clear, meaningful and structured way to suit audience
- Ability to think laterally and innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Builds effective working relationships with analysis and design teams in our delivery partners and works well with external partners. Must be able to work closely with the IT team as well as business representatives
- Self-awareness with confidence to work independently and take responsibility for own development
- Experience of planning and prioritizing their own time effectively, aware of their responsibilities and committed to delivering these efficiently
