In this role, you will:
We’re looking for a seasoned Development Manager (CIB- Test Engineer) to play a key role in agile testing, drive the application performance improve and testing automation, possess full-stack engineering capabilities and handle diverse taskst.
What you’ll do:
- Play a key role in agile testing: You will demonstrate leadership and outstanding testing skills in an agile development environment, designing and executing automated tests, conducting performance and security testing, implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), and optimizing testing processes to ensure efficient team collaboration and rapid iteration.
- Possess full-stack engineer capabilities and handle diverse tasks: In addition to the responsibilities of a senior test engineer, you will have full-stack engineer capabilities, supporting colleagues in areas such as Business Analysis (BA), code development, and DevOps. You will also complete some relatively simple but important tasks outside of testing to ensure overall team performance and project success.
- Demonstrate a strong learning mindset: You will be willing to learn knowledge and skills in areas such as Business Analysis (BA), code development, and DevOps, and provide support when needed by the team. Even if you do not currently possess all these skills, we welcome candidates who are willing to learn and grow into a versatile full-stack engineer.
- Provide cross-functional support: When other engineers or projects need assistance, you will respond promptly and provide necessary technical support to ensure efficient completion of team tasks. You will also be willing to share knowledge and help team members improve their testing skills.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree (or above) in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- Project Experience: Experience with large-scale application projects in corporate banking.
- Agile Development Experience: Experience working in an agile environment, able to flexibly adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
Technical Skill
- Outstanding Testing Skills: Proficient in testing strategies, test plans, functional testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques.
- Automation Testing Experience: Familiarity with automation testing tools (such as Jenkins, HCA), able to write efficient and maintainable automation testing scripts.
- Testing Framework Experience: Familiarity with testing frameworks, able to design and implement testing frameworks to support large-scale automation testing.
- CI/CD Tool Experience: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins), able to integrate automated testing with CI/CD processes.
- Performance and Security Testing Tools: Familiarity with performance testing tools (such as JMeter, LoadRunner) and security testing tools (such as SonarQube, Cyberflow, Nexus IQ).
- Version Control and Defect Management: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and defect management tools like JIRA.
- Problem-solving Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose and solve complex technical problems, with the capability to independently resolve issues.
Language
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is required.
Cultural Fit
- Continuous Learning and Growth: Willingness to learn various knowledge and skills required for agile teams.
- Communication and Team Collaboration: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members, supporting each other to drive project success.
Preferred Qualification
- Cantonese: Knowledge of Cantonese is beneficial for communication with colleagues from Guangdong and Hong Kong.
