We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
- Experience working within large-scale enterprise IT environment
- Awareness of security, audit, risk and compliance within enterprise IT environment
- Middleware Engineering background preferred and/or experience to equivalent level
- Experience working and partnering with middleware vendors (e.g. IBM)
- Strong awareness of infrastructure lifecycle, management and process
- Administrative Knowledge with practical hands-on of Middleware product on multiple platforms such as Linux, UNIX and Solaris in production support and surrounding tools along with ITIL processes
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Devops Engineer with hand-on experience in developing complex solutions using shell scripting, puppet, ansible.
- Hand-on experience with messaging products like MQ.
- Experience of designing and automating the deployment of to meet non-functional requirements like high availability, security and so on
- Core competencies: IBM HTTP Server, WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, WebLogic, MQ
- Experience in installation and patching of the Middleware products such as IBMIHS, WAS, Portal, BPM, MQ, WebLogic, in compliance with organizational standards.
- Experience in Configuration changes on existing application environments.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to application hosting.
- Provide ongoing support for problem records, identify problem situations, review the problems, engage associates to plan for investigation, work on Root Cause Analysis and provide solution in coordination with various infrastructure/application teams.
- Own the resolution of problems in hand, demonstrate analytical and problem management skills to drive the resolution and prevent reoccurrence.
- Actively participate Quality Review meetings, handle crisis calls, and provide inputs in IM review.
- Contribute to ad-hoc production support requirements.

- DevOps principles (Sprint delivery mode)
- Puppet/Ansible/Chef
- AWS and other Cloud platforms
- Docker/Containers/Kubernetes
