We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Director, Premier Elite (Onshore). 

Principal Responsibilities

  • The role is a client-facing role managing the HSBC relationship with our highest value clients where professionalism, client focus and an expert understanding of financial planning and wealth products are critical to the success of the business
  • The role holder has a responsibility to acquire, develop and retain relationships with a portfolio of Top Tier Premier clients
  • Top Tier Relationship Managers require exceptional ability to build trusting relationships with existing and potential Top Tier Premier clients, help clients articulate their needs, and deliver to exceed client expectations
  • Success requires getting to know clients on a personal and professional level to understand their short and long term financial goals. They will use deep understanding of the client's situation and external market knowledge to educate clients and provide financial advice which leads to highly individualised strategies aimed at wealth creation and capital preservation
  • The role will entail reviewing the Top Tier portfolio regularly to identify opportunities to use the distinctive capabilities of HSBC, spanning lines of business and geography, to the advantage of the client. In so doing the jobholder can increase client loyalty by meeting their needs either directly or through effective and proactive collaboration with other internal business partners
  • Understanding and adhering to local and global compliance requirements is critical. In delivering the business objectives the role holder must also maintain the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC and adhere to the Business Principles and Values of HSBC
  • The Top Tier RM is accountable for the performance of their portfolio and needs to ensure it is effectively run within the RBWM Target Business Model (TBM) and delivers to the Top Tier Proposition as defined by HSBC Group
Requirements
  • The successful candidate has strong academic qualifications and over 5 years of work experience in Wealth Management with a proven track record of managing clients’ portfolio (Premier banking)
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and investment products
  • Strong interpersonal relationship skills to be able to work individually as well as to collaborate with stakeholders to meet the needs of these clients
  • Highly driven and possess the ability to succeed within a challenging environment
  • Outgoing disposition, well-equipped with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Down to earth and resilient individual with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset who is able to work independently and in a strong team environment
  • Highly driven to excel and be able to thrive within a challenging environment by effectively recognizing customers' personal banking and wealth management needs

To be considered for this role, the relevant rights to work in Singapore is required.

The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
