Equity Derivatives Structurer, HSBC Bank USA N.A., New York, NY:

 

Contribute to the commercial development of HSBC’s structured products franchise in the US. Work with the salesforce and trading teams to identify new commercial opportunities and design, or onboard new equity derivative structures to meet current and future client demand. Generate new ideas to solve pricing and/or risk considerations of HSBC’s client base. Handle typical pricing requests from our customers, including promptly answering and providing feedback. Liaise with the relevant trading teams to incorporate feedback and to leverage HSBC’s strengths. Work in conjunction with IT and quant teams to streamline and further automate the structured products platform.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, Pay range: $200,000 to $210,000 per year.

Requirements

 

Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Statistics or a related quantitative field, and 5 years of work experience. 


Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

·         Quantitative Finance; and

·         Python.

Must have 3 years of experience in Derivatives Pricing or Risk.

 
Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

·         Derivatives Product Design; and

·         Directly interacting with clients.
