The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an Exchange Trade Fund (ETF) Operations Assistant Manager to join our team in Dublin. Being part of HSBC in Ireland, you’ll help evolve and grow our business. 

What you will do: 

In this role you will:

• Oversee daily ETF operation processes including trade matching, settlements, cash reconciliations, contract note release, and Net Asset Valuation (NAV).
• Be responsible for the day-to-day operational relationship with our ETF clients, including acting as an escalation point for any issues relating to portal access, settlements and valuations. 
• Provide support as necessary on daily activities such as contract notes, settlements, queries and client escalations within the ETF Operations team, ensuring that all tasks are processed in accordance with agreed procedures and controls and in accordance with relevant fund parameters.
• Provide input into planning and controlling the ETF Operations workload and workflow, review team’s output to sign-off stage where required.
• Provide continuous training, development and feedback to team members on ETF operating systems and processes. 
• Review operating processes and procedures, suggest and implement any improvements as necessary to the ETF Operations processes to reduce risk and enhance client experience, in consultation with the Head of ETF operations.
• Contribute to change management projects, system enhancements and new product launches.
• Ensure client SLAs are consistently met, and provide feedback on monthly service calls.

You should apply if you have:

• In-depth product knowledge of traditional funds and specifically ETFs.
• Demonstrable experience of ETFs portals, NAV tools and how they operate in the industry.
• Detailed knowledge of the fund valuation process, ETF order processing and settlement including items such as Market Deviation, Actual Cost and Cut off times.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills pertaining to clients.
