We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of

 Finance Business Manager 

Role purpose:

This role is to support the Regional Americas Chief Operating Office (COO) who oversees the execution and delivery of key business management accountabilities including robust financial and headcount management for Americas Finance.

Leveraging tools, technology and processes to provide a consistent, centralized view, driving collaboration, adapting best practice to support the finance function to operate in a cost-effective manner.

The COO team is required to create capacity within the teams to focus on finance transformation and the people agenda.

The Business Manager provides dedicated, forward thinking, operational and business management support.

Main activities: 

  • Implement revised Target Operating Model (TOM) to ensure a consistent approach of support to Finance is established across workforce management and the associated cost management that provides analysis and key insights/enablers to helps drive efficiencies across the entire function
  • Create meaningful relationships with their stakeholders.
  • Support changes lead by the central team to standardized, streamlined and automated (leveraging existing technology platforms) in order to create “best practices” which can be implemented to ensure high operational standards.
  • Drive a consistent and effective approach to business management across the Finance COO team.
  • Deliver against multiple outcomes and prioritize resources and demand across global Finance.
  • Collaborate with wider Finance and Innovation teams.
  • Develop strong culture of process documentation and controls within the COO.
  • Drive positive change in processes, procedures, services etc. to deliver on financial, people or efficiency goals.
  • Develop robust financial and headcount management including FRP, forecast and consultancy approvals and tracking across sub-functions and regions.
  • Support the full end-to-end Global Finance headcount and financial planning and forecasting process, to ensure an accurate view of each sub-function and regions ability to meet targets.
  • Ensure support is provided for the production and monitoring of the headcount plans, forecasts and actuals that deliver the FRP, including analysis of submissions for sub-functions and regions.
  • Implement robust headcount and financial analysis, planning and reporting processes.
  • Support ongoing review and challenge of headcount plans and management across sub-functions and regions.
  • Headcount approval management including system management and governance at a sub-function / regional level.
  • Prepare ad hoc requests for templates/data on costs / FTE for Finance - Support a consistent and effective approach to business management across the Finance COO team.

  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to juggle priorities to meet varied and sometimes ambiguous requirements.
