We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Data Product
Principal responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Product of HSIL, the jobholder is accountable for the development of the data business and formulate comprehensive product strategies of HSIL, including Data Products, Dissemination, Data & Analytics and Digital Platform
- Lead the Data Product team under the Product team
- Manage and integrate multiple channels (both manned and digital) for maximizing client experience, lead conversion and business value
- Develop and manage roadmap of data products (including data, dissemination, analytics and technology), ensuring timely delivery and alignment with market demands and generate revenue streams for the firm
- Oversee the development and management of the digital platform that supports index data products, ensuring it meets user needs and enhances product functionality and pave way for future data products development
- Conduct market research to keep abreast of key market, regulatory and competitor intelligence
- Collaborate with various internal teams such as research, product and client coverage and initiate and develop new products related to data, dissemination, analytics and technology areas
Requirements
- University degree in business/finance related disciplines, Master degree preferred;
- Over 10 years’ experience in financial industry or financial data analytics;
- Extensive experience in the area of data, analytics and platform business;
- Deep understanding of financial data & analytics products; digital platform architecture and user experience design
- Strong business acumen to determine the directions and formulate business plans, and strong project management skills to drive, implement and execute the new business initiatives related to data and analytics business
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and project management skills;
- Proficiency in BBG/Factset/Refinitive referred;
- High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers;
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
