We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Payment Solutions and Card Usage.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Develop and lead the end-to-end payment and card usage strategy, aligned with the bank’s retail banking objectives
  • Design and implement integrated payment solutions across credit/debit cards, mobile wallets and remittance channels
  • Drive portfolio optimization using data insights, segmentation, and predictive modelling to identify next best spending, sending and engagement opportunities
  • Implement lifecycle strategies across early engagement, activation, usage, retention, and win-back using propensity models and behaviour-based targeting
  • Own and drive the retail transaction fee and Fx income lines across payment and remittance products and market share growth
  • Monitor performance metrics, conduct profitability analysis, and deliver actions to grow usage, transaction volumes, and revenue
  • Collaborate with marketing and digital teams to deliver targeted campaigns with effective communications to drive adoption and engagement
  • Partner with risk, operations, and technology teams to ensure robust controls and business continuity planning/ resilience risk
Requirements

To be successful you will need

  • Advanced experience on portfolio management with specialization on Card usage and payments/remittances with strong experience in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of strategic thinking and execution of portfolio strategies to drive customer engagement and P&L accountability
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to use data analytics and segmentation to drive portfolio performance
  • Strong programme and project management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives with speed and discipline
  • Deep understanding of cards network, payment ecosystems, remittances flows
