As Head of Retail and Wealth Marketing for HSBC in the UK, you will provide relationship management to senior stakeholders to ensure that business strategies and objectives are effectively translated into well-defined marketing strategies that are continuously optimised and measured.  You’ll be responsible for a £multi-million budget and for creating a compelling vision for our retail and wealth customers by leading the conception and delivery of a clear and focussed marketing plan to reach and engage our target audiences.

In this role, you will:

·         Own the marketing strategy and plan for HSBC’s Retail and Wealth Customers and ensure this is aligned to business strategy to drive meaningful results for HSBC and its customers. 

·         Ensure marketing insight and effectiveness learning from campaign activity is consistently and continuously fed into marketing briefs and that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of both desired and achieved outcomes.

·         Leverage expertise and resource from across the UK Marketing team and partner with our centres of excellence to deliver outstanding customer communications and advertising activity. 

·         Support business partners and Product Directors with insight into business challenges and what matters to customers, to ensure products and propositions ae grounded in customer insight.

Requirements

For this role, we’re looking for:

·         A commercially minded strategic marketer who can be a driver of change and innovation.

·         Very strong relationship management skills with deep expertise in strategic marketing and a proven ability to deliver results through multiple teams ideally in Financial Services or a similar highly regulated industry or maybe FMCG /retail.  

·         The ambition to take customer/market intelligence and emerging trends, to influence and shape how we engage with our customers and stakeholders and drive customer-centred change.

·         Deep understanding of marketing across multiple disciplines including brand management and all aspects of digital marketing, social media, and influencer marketing.  

·         An ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a simple and meaningful way to wide and varied audiences.
