We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Systems Administrator.
In this role, you will:
• Monitor and review the execution of the Asset Management process at a high-level, ensure it remains consistent with the organization’s culture and CTO Enablement’s strategy.
• Collaborate with all the business areas for all asset families (e.g. server, network, FQDN) and understand their asset lifecycle management process.
• Interact effectively and professionally with IT Service Owners, Project Managers and User Community through various Non-Functional Requirement, Checkpoint meetings etc. and deliver results as desired.
• Follow proactive approach and perform root cause analysis and problem-solve identified gaps and flaws in data, data flow and processes. Aim to prevent recurring problems and enhance reliability of our controls.
• Maintain comprehensive documentations, like, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the tasks to ensure clarity and consistency and maintain user guides and support documents.
• Take responsibility for identifying fixes and working with relevant teams for implementation.
• Follow-up with stakeholders and track and escalate outstanding actions.
• Respond to and participate in audits and audit requests.
• Assist with the production of monthly Key Control Indicator (KCI) and weekly escalation reporting for Senior Management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills.
• An eye for detail.
• Ability to understand complex data, relationships, and process logic.
• Demonstrated experience in writing SQL queries for data analysis and investigation.
• Initiative and proactiveness.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite – particularly Excel.
• Knowledge and experience working with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience of documenting system processes and data flows, producing clear, succinct documentation.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Quick learning, team player and strong interpersonal/social skills to build and maintain cordial relationships with users, peers, and management at all levels.
• Excellent communication skills, proactiveness in communicating with stakeholders and escalating to Sr. Management when required.
• Courage and ability to challenge the status-quo.
Summary preferred Key Skills:
• Have demonstrated experience in VBA along with strong Excel skills.
• Familiar with Service Management Principles. Preferably Configuration Management, Asset & Inventory Management and Change Management.
• Knowledge of/experiences in the technologies that support Configuration Management (CMDBs, Auto-discovery, Integrations).
• Knowledge of SharePoint admin.
• Candidate should be a Graduate.
• ITIL Foundation Certified.
• Basic knowledge on AGILE and Dev-Ops methodology.
• Basic knowledge of Cloud technology.
