We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for

  • SME for Infrastructure based services, Service Designs and proof of concepts evaluation
  • Infrastructure Migration Projects, planning and execution.
  • Application Infrastructure Services including support, development, releases [Monitoring, Orchestration, Business Application]
  • Automation and Tooling for Application Services Migration 
  • ITO platform stability [Patches, Tooling],
  • Urgent platform changes (CVE, ITO and software) 
  • Working with and coordinating on-shore and off-shore teams 
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Infrastructure Migration Project (Linux Versions, HW, Database, Application Servers, Application Infra Set-up) 
  • Shared Services Design, Development and Support for distributed applications (Ansible, Observability, OpenTelemetry, Unix, Python)
  • Infrastructure On boarding, ITSA, Migration, Patching 
  • Application Development, Support, Orchestration and Vendor Management
  • Good knowledge and experience of the following 
  • Familiarity with service-oriented environments
  • Running on and off-shore delivery teams
  • Change Management tool/systems (serviceNow), Build tools Jenkins
  • Linux RHEL (including BASH scripting, SFTP, scheduling software, monitoring)
  • Hardware (including networking, SAN/storage)
  • Desirable Databases Oracle, PostGres; Scripting Python, Perl
  • Experience of working in DevOPS and Agile development teams

  • Ability to work with a project team in multiple locations around the world
  • Self-motivated individual who is enthusiastic and has proven fast learning capability
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on own initiative and on multiple tasks simultaneously 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and quick to adapt to changing requirements
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues, presenting solutions and options
  • Automation Tools - Ansible and Jenkins
  • Must be able to document their work thoroughly
