Our GCIO organisation plays a critical role for the bank. This team partners with our businesses to build the platforms, systems, and products that our customers use every day. This team keeps people’s money and data safe, and is at the forefront of driving innovation for our businesses, customers, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT applications and services
  • Organize existing documentation into structured, searchable formats
  • Develop standardized templates for incident reports, procedures, and user guides
  • Update and maintain the IT knowledge base and service catalog
  • Document application workflows, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Assist in creating visual documentation including process flowcharts and system diagrams
  • Collaborate with technical teams to capture and document tribal knowledge
  • Review and improve existing documentation for accuracy and clarity
  • Support the development of training materials and quick reference guides
  • Maintain inventory documentation for applications, licenses, and system dependencies
  • Assist with document version control and approval workflows
  • Help organize and categorize documentation for easy retrieval and compliance purposes

Required Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Information Technology, Technical Writing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Experience with content management systems or documentation platforms preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in technical writing, documentation, or information management
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, or similar platforms
  • Basic knowledge of process mapping and workflow documentation
  • Experience with diagramming tools (Visio, draw.io)
  • Knowledge of HTML/Markdown for web-based documentation
  • Previous internship experience in IT or financial services
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in document creation and formatting tools
  • Basic understanding of database concepts for organizing information
  • Familiarity with collaboration platforms and version control
  • Ability to learn new documentation software and platforms quickly
Requirements:
  • Being a student from universities/educational institutions (not graduated yet) 
  • Ability to intern full-time in 6 months
  • Have a recommendation letter for their internship period from universities/educational institutions
