Corporate, Investment and Capital Markets Banking offers a range of customized financial products and services to leading governments, large corporations, and institutional clients around the world.
 
We are looking for two interns to join the Multinationals Coverage team which manages the European subsidiaries of the bank's largest Corporate Clients. This team of Relationship Managers supplies a large range of products and services (Credit & Lending, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Asset management, Markets solution, Asset or project financing, etc.) and involves all corporate banking activities. Multinational team is at the heart of HSBC’s strategy to be the leading international bank by facilitating Inbound business from other HSBC key markets. Since the Brexit France is one of the key Multinational franchises for HSBC as we are supporting client across continental Europe.
 
This 6 months full time internship will be based in HSBC Continental Europe’s headquarter in the 16th District of Paris (Avenue Kleber). The selected candidate will start early January 2025. This is a Full-time internship from Monday to Friday. 
 
Your mission will be to contribute to the development and management of the Client’s portfolio by:
  • Monitoring the business activity of the Relationship Managers, especially the revenues generated by the team
  • Elaborating Sectorial analysis (Retail, Industrials, Tech, Media, Oil&Gas, Power, Construction,..)
  • Elaborating Client Presentation and Marketing materials (Internal & External)
  • Elaborating “Briefing Notes” supporting client meetings, events, financials releases ,...
  • Using Client Database in order to produce statistics, monitoring of business performance and fixed objectives.
  • Proceeding with data analysis in order to produce regular reporting (Revenues, Risk ratios, Business reporting, etc...)
  • Updating Client/Prospect lists
  • Providing support to organize client and internal events
  • Contributing to internal process improvement
Requirements
  • Student looking for a “Gap Year” (Césure) or “End-of-study” internship meaning Bac +4/5, studying in business school or university with specialization in Finance, Corporate Finance or Economics
  • A first experience in Corporate and Investment Banking will be appreciated
  • Good understanding of the Financial Environment in relation to Corporate Finance
  • Excellent management of the Office Pack especially in Excel (a must have)
  • English: Fluent, French: Intermediary, all others language skills will be a real plus.
  • Rigor and Autonomy Excellent inter-professional skills and inclusion capacity
  • Very dynamic approach and curiosity driven
