We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Investment Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- As part of the Hong Kong Insurance Investment team, managing the insurance asset portfolio within risk limits and tactical asset allocation ranges to generate long-term returns for policyholders and shareholders
- Recommend, manage and monitor the performance of equity and equity derivative strategies and mandates
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities by undertaking detailed analysis and preparing investment papers and managing internal approval processes
- Work across various teams within investment as well as with finance and actuarial on investment initiatives and strategies
- Oversee Investment related management information (MI) reporting and regulatory reporting
To be successful you will need
- University graduate with honours in economics, finance or quantitative finance, actuarial, data analysis, business, mathematics or a related discipline or with substantial coursework in the foregoing or related subjects
- Have a solid understanding of financial markets, investment asset classes, life insurance, and banking
- Experience in research, analysis, financial modelling, valuations and presentations and strong familiarity with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in both English and Chinese
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
