We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Actuarial Services.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will
- Part of the Par & Universal Life Fund Management and Experience Studies team
- Responsible for supporting experience monitoring, assumption setting, and annual Par bonus recommendation and implementations
- Supporting the monthly and quarterly delivery of management information for internal stakeholders
- Supporting in ad-hoc actuarial projects and enhancement project of existing processes
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the assigned tasks
- Maintain documentation as per HSBC guidelines
Requirements
To be successful you will need
- University graduate in a relevant discipline in Actuarial Studies, with good progress in actuarial exams of an international recognized actuarial body
- Relevant Actuarial experience, candidate with less experience will be considered for Associate position
- Good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Ability to work independently, interact with other departments
- Good technical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Team player with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude
- Experience in SQL/Python and/or Prophet is a plus
