We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager BFCR - ECRU - IWPB BRR UTILITY HSBC HK BFCR.

Principal responsibilities:

  • Lead EDD and Customer Reactivation Unit with focus on various FCR management, including customer onboarding, High Risk Product / Transaction control.
  • Supervise and monitor the quality of deliverable of team and individuals and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the assigned goal and measures.
  • Be a policy and process champion in BFCR domain, possessing excellent knowledge on local and Global FC one policy.
  • Assist business to implement Financial Crime risk & controls activities and projects, per local and Global FC policy.
  • Support business to take remediation or mitigating actions against issues identified by audit, compliance review and MSII etc.
  • Identify and escalate critical/ exceptional issues to the appropriate management and/ or risk stewards.

  • Bachelor degree or professional qualification with working experience in financial institution.
  • Relevant working experience in Know Your Customer, Customer Due Diligence, Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance will be an advantage.
  • Excellent communications, coordination and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Cantonese.
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with the local regulatory environment.
  • Team leader, independent, high adaptability to changing environment and attention to details.
  • Strong analytical and strong risk sense.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
