We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager – Data Analyst

Principal responsibilities

  • Responsible to work with business, data and IT stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear data requirements.
  • Collect, cleanse, and standardize data to generate actionable insights and address reporting needs. Using data mining techniques to extract information from data sets and identify correlations and patterns.
  • Excellent communication and data visualization skills, with experience in tools like Looker, QlikSense, Tableau, or GDS.
  • Exploring and visualizing data. Performing statical analysis and experiments to derive business insights, applying data to solve complex business challenges.
  • Clearly communicating the findings from analysis to turn information into something actionable through reports/dashboards and / or presentations.
  • Identify and manage risk in the area of responsibility including resolve blockers and bottlenecks. Identifying and recommending new ways to save money by streamlining business processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain advisory relationship with senior managers, gravitas to negotiate and challenge conventional thinking.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, pressured environment, proven ability to handle multiple outputs at once.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a strong understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs and solve problems
Requirements
  • Understanding of Procurement life cycle and awareness of Procurement applications, application of same on data and analysis
  • Has a minimum experience of 2- 5 years as Data Analysts, demonstrable experience of solving problems in the project/business domain.
  • Experience with data integration-related role, ETL processes and data warehousing principles
  • Think critically and analytically to solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
  • Expertise in SQL/Big Query. Hands-on experience with at least one of the reporting tool – Qlik/Power BI/ML
  • Responsible for one’s own performance. Required to ensure that the service levels are maintained at its optimum level.
  • Adhere to Group Compliance Policy as applicable to your role in conjunction with the relevant laws, rules and codes
  • To continually re-access the operational risks inherent, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures, management restructures and the impact of new technology
