We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager – Stress Testing GSC’s

Work Location- Bangalore

The Traded Risk Team is one of the teams within Wholesale and Market Risk [WMR]. Group Wholesale and Market Risk reports directly to the Group Chief Risk Officer and is responsible for the approvals, policies, portfolio management and reporting on the Group’s Wholesale and Market Risk exposures. Group also works with Regional functions across Global Risk to ensure functional consistency and delivery across all group offices.

The Traded Risk Offshore Team is currently based out of GSC Bangalore providing support to a number of Risk functions/teams across the Group.  The teams are responsible for Credit Risk Control, Market Risk Control, Market Data management for Scenario and Stress Calibration, Counterparty Credit Risk Control, etc., and supports all Regional and Group Risk

Requirements
  • 4 - 7 years’ experience in financial services
  • Masters in finance/Econometrics/Quants or MBA from reputed B-school
  • CFA/FRM/PRM will be preferred.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good knowledge in VBA-Excel, VBA-MS Access & PPT is a must.
  • Regulatory Stress testing and Python- coding mandatory
  • Counterparty credit risk / Market risk and financial products-Financial products- payoffs/ timing of payoffs/ options SWAPS/ CDS/ Forwards, futures/ different parameters of products involved/ operations not required
  • Good knowledge of financial products in market
  • Experience in using terminals like Bloomberg & Reuters
  • Strong understanding of market risk and counterparty risk concepts
